Desalination is a method of regaining drinkable water from sea sources brackish rivers and lakes. This method is mainly recommended for places with dry climate and full access in pure sea water, such as the Cichlids island complexion and the other islands of south-eastern Aegean sea.

 
 

Desalination consists the trustworthy solution for the water famine problem, common to the very dry Greek islands, which are currently supplied from water transportation ships.
Marine water desalination can provide water of high quality for irrigation, watering or for industrial use.
